Luxor today is one of Egypt’s 7 world heritage sites, not just Karnak or Luxor temple but all of Luxor.
We suggest to start with this 2 days tour covering the highlights of Luxor. If you have more time, we definitely to stay more and explore more of Luxor and its hidden gems.. or go on a day trip to Dendera or Esna. There is a lot to discover from Luxor. From 2 days.. to a week! We always have hidden gems to show you. We are Egypt Hidden gems expert! Tour program
Day 1
Morning Tour:
Start with your day with a visit to “Karnak temple”, the most important temple in Ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom
Followed by a drink/ lunch at Winter palace garden (Subject to hotel availability – Alternative available)
End your morning tour with a visit to “Luxor temple”
To get a full immersed experience, we suggest to visit Abu El Haggag mosque to get a full idea about the culture of Luxor people (Optional with no extra fees – subject to mosque opening hours)
Optional night tour:
Enjoy a walk transmitting you back in time with the fabulous “Sound & Light show” at Karnak
Followed by a walk in Luxor Souk (Touristic Market)
End your night with dinner in a nice restaurant/oriental café in Luxor and enjoy the Egyptian vibes
Day 2
- Start your day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. The visit includes 3 tombs & Queen Hatshepsut temple
- Stop for a short visit to “Howard Carter Museum”, the famous Egyptologist who dedicated his life to find the tomb of King Tutankhamun
- End your day with a delicious late lunch followed by a walk in the nearby village and enjoy the real Egyptian life
Notes: Depending on your time, energy and guest interest we can show interesting gems and initiatives such as Luxor Art Gallery and others for an authentic experience.
