A World Heritage Site
From walking in the oldest mosque of Cairo to following the footpath of the Holy Family in Egypt.. this tour definitely has a different feeling.
Explore the masterpieces of Islamic architecture and Coptic heritage. This tour uncovers the Hidden Gems of Fustat and Ibn Tulun area (Old Al-Qaṭāʾi), 2 areas of “Historic Cairo ”, one of Egypt’s 7 World Heritage Sites.
Depart on an adventure to discover Cairo’s landmarks depicted on the Egyptian paper money. The journey will uncover the beauty and history of different Islamic Masterpieces!

Tour program:
On this day, you will discover the oldest standing mosque in Cairo (Ibn Tulun mosque) and the masterpiece of Mamluk architecture “Madrassa of Sultan Hassan“. End the visit to Islamic Cairo with “Rifaie mosque“, a beautiful mosque that hosts the tombs of Khedive Ismail, King Farouk (last king of Egypt) and the last shah of Iran “Mohamed Reza”.
On this day as well, you will visit Masr el Adima, famously known by Coptic Cairo and discover the history behind of this rich part of Cairo. In Coptic Cairo, you find the beautiful old churches of Cairo. The visit will include the Hanging church and Abu Serga Church.
A visit to Ben Ezra will be included, if it is open for visits. (Recently it was closed)
There is always a room to add more to your day as per your interest and depending on the time. Our tours are slow paced so you can enjoy your time!
